Today over 100 Rupo ladies fill the clubrooms with Pink. It was a great day at which the club raised over $2,000 towards breast cancer research. In addition to the actual fund raising event, our team officials and umpires joined in the spirit of the day. 

Congratulations to Margot Bradley, Leesa Patten, Marian Gaunt and their team of helpers for organising such a great event.

The day also included some emotional personal experiences, both from those that publicly spoke of their own experience and others that have been touched by this affliction.

Our thanks to the VAFA for supporting the day by allocating 5 female umpires for our senior game against Werribee. They were all presented with "Pink Ribbon" T-Shirts in memory of their visit on our special day.
