Rupertswood Football Club is always looking for people to help run the club - IN WHATEVER CAPACITY THEY ARE ABLE TO OFFER.

It might be as little as 30 minutes per week or as much as ......... whatever you can spare.

ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED. THE MORE THE MERRIER. IT MEANS THAT IF THE WORK LOAD IS SHARED AMONGST MORE PEOPLE, GREATER SATISFACTION AND ENJOYMENT IS SHARED BY MORE PEOPLE FOR MORE TIME. REMEMBER EVERYONE IN THE CLUB BENEFITS FROM BEING INVOLVED IN THE CLUB, SO IT MAKES SENSE THAT EVERYONE OFFER HELP WHEREVER POSSIBLE!

Junior Operations Sub Committee
Thursday, 13 May 2010 23:23

We have a dedicated group of people who have volunteered to assist in running the Junior division of the club. Each person has a clearly defined role. This sub-committee meets approximately 3 - 4 times in a 12 month period, with it's major focus being around season preparation and review/reconciliation. Once the season is in progress, meeting are conducted on a needs basis, otherwise appropriate discussion is conducted via email.

At the moment, we do not have anyone filling the position of First Aid Co-Ordinator, and would dearly love to hear from someone with the appropriate skills to assist with this role. For further information about the role, please contact David Kane on 0403 859 618 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

The 2012 Junior Operations sub committee will be made available early in 2012.

Junior Insurance
Wednesday, 19 May 2010 22:18

The Club maintains an insurance policy under the umbrella of the RDFL and AFL - This policy is at the Bronze level.

Players and families should note that this Accident and Injury policy is a 'top up' type policy and does not replace the need for individual Health Cover and Ambulance Cover.

There is no Loss of Income included for juniors, but again players should ensure they also maintain private cover that meets their individual circumstances.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE POLICY DOES NOT COVER ANY "MEDICARE GAP" EXPENSES.

Refer below for the process to report an Accident / Injury. Where Private Hospital or other care is being considered families should ensure they are fully aware of the total costs and clarify the level of insurance reimbursement they may receive.

Mouthguards

For the safety of all players, we strongly recommend that a mouthguard be worn when playing games, and if appropriate at training. You can purchase mouthguards at a chemist and sports store, which you fit and mould yourself. These vary in price, but generally between $15.00 & $30.00. Or you can have a mouthguard fitted by a professional, and are a lot more comfortable to use. They are priced at the $80.00 - $90.00 mark. For details on arranging a properly fitted mouthguard click here.
