Junior Insurance

The Club maintains an insurance policy under the umbrella of the RDFL and AFL - This policy is at the Bronze level.

Players and families should note that this Accident and Injury policy is a 'top up' type policy and does not replace the need for individual Health Cover and Ambulance Cover.

There is no Loss of Income included for juniors, but again players should ensure they also maintain private cover that meets their individual circumstances.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT THE POLICY DOES NOT COVER ANY "MEDICARE GAP" EXPENSES.

Refer below for the process to report an Accident / Injury. Where Private Hospital or other care is being considered families should ensure they are fully aware of the total costs and clarify the level of insurance reimbursement they may receive.

Players should report their injury immediately to their Coach, Team Manager or other Club Official.

Claims under this policy are completed by the injured player (parent) and can be accessed from the link below.

The Insurers will then liaise with players/families directly for reimbursements and any additional information.
