Fantastic Practice Matches against Aberfeldie FC !
The Practice Matches last weekend were a great hitout for our U10-16 groups and a BIG thanks to Aberfeldie FC for their terrific sportsmanship and support on a pleasant autumn day at Rupo FC. The practice matches were played in great spirit and the boys all appreciated the hit out as they prepare for the Seaon start.
Special thanks to Paul Hogan, Gary Plummer, Paul Ross, Mitch Gaunt and Kevin Quinn for umpiring our Practice Matches against Aberfeldie FC on the weekend. The guys did a great job and umpired more than 4 quarters each - highlighting their superb physical condition. Thanks guys !
As we get closer to the start of the Junior season (April 10th), there is lots of last minute work that needs to be done. Our Junior Sub Committee is working hard to finalise details, lists, resources and facilities, and we welcome all help from everyone involved.
Season Launch - THANKS !
Thanks to all Parents and players who attended the Junior Season launch at Rupo FC on March 25th. Maree Goodwin (Club Secretary) and a band of hard working helpers ensured the night was a success, and it was a great way to celebrate Rupo FC and the terrific community we are part of.
The 'COVERING OF THE PITCHES':
Great work - Brenden Wragg and the 'Mat Laying Crew' - covering up the cricket pitches on the Main and Pine Oval. Approximately 15 Dads came down for an egg and bacon sandwich, and a few quiet beers and we positioned the mats and covered the edges with soil. As you can see from the picture below, there are some committed Dads at Rupo - none more so than Roger Podolczak, whose bad jokes and constant stirring kept everyone on their toes.
        1/8     SEASON START DATE - April 10th - Fixture finalised this week.
Dont forget - the RDFL Season starts on April 10th. Make sure your boy/s have their mouthguards, apparel and footy boots ready to go !! The RDFL fixture is expected to be finalised by Friday 1st April. Keep an eye out for the release of the fixtures from either the Junior or Fixture menu tab of our website (above).

Make sure you have regsistered your son/s for this season - get online and register (even if you pay later !!).
